Aamir khan’s full name is “Mohammed Aamir Hussain Khan” He born on 14 March 1965 in Mumbai. To “Tahir Hussain” (producer), and “Zeenat Hussain”.And now he is an Indian film actor, director, and producer. Aamir Khan become one of the most popular and influential actors of Indian cinema. He is the recipient of numerous awards,
including four “National Film Awards” And eight “Filmfare Awards”. He was honoured by the Government of India with the “Padma Shri” in 2003 and the Padma Bhushan in 2010.

Aamir Khan first appeared on screen as a child actor in (1973) Nasir Hussain’s(uncle) film Yaadon Ki Baaraat. His first feature film role camein (1984) with the experimental film Holi, and he began a full-time acting career in (1988) with a leading role in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. and in (1989) the thriller Raakh . earned him a Special Mention at the “National Film Award” ceremony. In the 1990s he established himself as a leading actor of Hindi cinema by appearing in several commercially successful films, including Dil (1990), Raja Hindustani (1996), for which he won his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor, and Sarfarosh (1999).He was also noted for playing against type in (1998) the critically acclaimed Canadian-Indian film Earth.

In 2001, Aamir Khan started a production company, it’s first release, Lagaan(2001), It was nominated for the Academy Award for “Best Foreign Language Film” and earned him a “National Film Award” for “Best Popular Film” and two more “Filmfare Awards” (Best Actor and Best Film). After a four year absence Aamir Khan continued to leading roles, most notably in the 2006 box-office hits Fanaa and Rang De Basanti. The following year, he made his directorial debut with Taare Zameen Par, a major success that garnered him the “Filmfare Awards” for “Best Film” and “Best Director”.Aamir Khan’s bigest commercial successes with the thriller Ghajini (2008), then the comedy drama 3 Idiots (2009), the action film Dhoom 3 (2013), the satire PK (2014) and the sports biopic Dangal all of which held records for being the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time.Aamir Khan won his third “Best Actor award” at Filmfare for Dangal (2016).
In addition to acting, Aamir Khan is a humanitarian and has participated and speak out for various social causes, some of which have sparked political controversy. He has created and hosted the television show “Satyamev Jayate”, through which he highlights sensitive social issues in India

Personal life

Aamir Khan married Reena Dutta, who had a small part in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, on 18 April 1986. They have two children, a son named Junaid and a daughter, Ira.

On 28 December 2005, Aamir Khan married Kiran Rao, who had been an assistant director to Ashutosh Gowariker during the filming of Lagaan.On 5 December 2011, Aamir Khan and his wife announced the birth of their son, Azad Rao Khan,through a surrogate mother In 2007, Khan lost a custody battle for his younger brother Faisal to their father, Tahir Hussain.His father died on 2 February 2010.

A practising Muslim, Khan along with his mother Zeenat, performed Hajj, an annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and a mandatory religious duty for Muslims, in 2013.In March 2015, Aamir Khan become vegetarian quit non-vegetarian food after being inspired by his wife.
